Volunteering at the middle school or high school concessions stand is a fantastic way to support your team while contributing to the Big Walnut Athletic Boosters' mission. By giving your time, you help raise essential funds that directly benefit our student-athletes and their programs. Whether you're a parent, alumni, or community member, your efforts at the concessions stand make a significant impact, ensuring our teams have the resources they need to succeed and providing our fans with a fantastic Game Day experience. Meet Our VolunteerS of the Month!
If you came out to Big Walnut High School for the Varsity football home opener last Friday night, you probably recognize some of these friendly faces.
Please join us in thanking the many volunteers who ran our stadium concessions stand for the home opener! These volunteers (and more who are not pictured) helped serve over $10,000 in concessions sales to our hungry and thirsty student-athletes, families, and fans. It was a busy, busy night, and we can't thank these volunteers enough for the many hours of standing on their feet, popping and filling countless bags of popcorn, prepping tray upon tray of nachos, grilling hundreds of hot dogs and brats, serving up pizza and chicken tenders, running back and forth from coolers and refrigerators to the multiple cashier windows, and ringing up customers – all as quickly as possible! What a great job done by all.
